The central government has notified wide notification dated 22.06.2021 the appointment of the senior-most judge of the Allahabad High Court as Acting Chief Justice of the Allahabad High Court with effect from 26 June and his Lordship would be performing the duties of the office of the Chief Justice of the Allahabad High Court consequent upon the retirement of the Chief Justice Sanjay Yadav, Allahabad High Court. Justice Bhandari hails from Rajasthan High Court and was transferred to Allahabad High Court and took oath as Judge on March 15, 2019.
